Research office, located on the 5th floor of CerviCusco. Cancer prevention and control, behavioral, translational, and clinical trials are conducted onsite or in outlying rural locations. CerviCusco is a Peruvian National Institute of Health Clinical Research Center.
We offer research opportunities with ongoing projects or you can bring your own project to CerviCusco. We have NIH projects as well as individually designed research projects for dissertation work or other academic pursuits. Each summer, we have research projects for medical students between their first year and second year of study. We have a competitive application process for these projects that enable students to have hands on research experience that typically results in at least one publication. Projects are both completed in the clinic, the laboratory, and in the field and include multiple disciplines.
